What is Demo Day?
At the end of the year, in lieu of the traditional high pressure and costly recital, our students will enjoy an informal demonstration performance highlighting classroom progress and achievement right here at our studio. In this way, the focus throughout the year can remain on continued education rather than preparation. This is a free event open to any family & friends of our dancers.
Below you will find the 2023 Demo Day Schedule. Simply look for the date and time of the class your dancer currently attends & this will provide the date and time of their demo performance. Check your email for a list of specific details pertaining to your dancers class, i.e. costume.
Audience members & dancers: please gather outside of the studio about 10 minutes prior to your dancers show time so that we can be sure everyone is ready to begin promptly for their scheduled performance. We will invite you inside once the previous show ends. Please refrain from waiting in the lobby-- we want to keep the studio quiet for our dancers who are performing and be sure our current dancers and families have space for photos of their dancers.
Audience members who are leaving the studio from a previous show, we ask that you leave promptly when your show is over so that we can get our guests inside and ready for their performance.
Audience members: Please only soft sole or tennis shoes allowed on the dance studio floor otherwise be prepared to remove your shoes upon entrance into the dance studio. Thank you for helping us protect our special dance studio floors!!
Last Week of Classes:
Our last week of regular classes for the 2023-2024 season will be Tuesday, May 28-Monday, June 3. Starting Tuesday, June 4 through Saturday, June 8 there will be NO regular classes, ONLY Demo Day performances. Be sure to double check the time of your dancers show as show times differ from regular class times.
During these last few months of classes, please try your best to be in class each week. Dancers will be learning choreography and we want to be sure they are present and know all of the details.
